Elder Scrolls 4: Oblivion

So I bought this game on Christmas day, and have since played it for over 90 hours according to Steam. Here's a mini review of it.

I completed the story quest today, which is basically about how an evil lord called Mehrunes Dagon wants to invade the land the game is set in - Tamriel, which is like a big county in a country known as Cyrodill. You have to fight the forces of Oblivion (the name of the evil land) and help the heir to the dead Emperor regain his glory. I won't spoil anything, you can play it out yourself.

There are loads of side quests - at least about three per town. Then theres the guilds - Fighter's, Thieve's, Mage's and the Dark Brotherhood. The first three being self explanatory, and the DB being a group of murderers. You can join each guild and perform quests for them. You get access to their guild base and most of their items.

The actual gameplay is alright, but the only bad thing is that the caves are quite repetitive. You get many quests needing you to go into old caves, dungeons, catacombs, forts etc but really these are all the same as each other. The map is massive though you can fast travel to all towns, plus the places you discover on the road once you have visited them.

Thats all, I'd reccommend it as a game - its the best I've played in a long while! I've still got loads to play - 2 expansion packs and the last quests of the guilds which go on forever, as well as most of the Mages guild quests to do.
