Data Security

I've got a module called Data Security for my uni work. I've got a 1000 word report to write, and I'm gonna be doing problems with Internet Browsers. This includes Do not track headers (stop websites seeing what sites you visit), zero day exploits, pwn2own and more.

Pwn2Own is a competition in Canada. Apparently they have a competition to see who can hack OS's and browsers the quickest, as a single person or a team. Apparently it takes 3 seconds to hack a browser.

I'll put more stuff up here as I get more research. Its due in 7th December I think.

Alright so i haven't updated this due to being back at uni, and having a lack of internet as well as the build up of work but I might restart to get posts up on here.

Paraolympics 04/09/2012

Today me and the family went to see the paraolympics at the Excel centre, watching bowls, fencing and volleyball. Each one is different with it being the paraolympics - bowls becomes wheelchair bowls, otherwise known as boccia (however it's spelt), fencing is done on wheelchairs and volleyball is done sitting down. The volleyball was the best event - we saw Brazil beat China winning 3-0 in sets. The fencing was alright too, we saw a Brit lose 5-0 against a German then win about 5-3 agaisnt Hungary. The food and drink is waaaayyyy too much overpriced there - £2.30 for a coke and £7.50 for a pizza, for one person! Not thanks! Stir fry chicken roll was nice though for £4.

We also went to the British Music Experience in the O2 arena. This was brilliant - it was filled with Oasis and Stone Roses stuff! They had Noel Gallagher's Great Britain coloured guitar, as well as the blue painted clothes worn by the Stone Roses bassist Mani. They also had a guitar which I think was Mani's. There was also a nice long bit of a performance of Lyla by Oasis in the end closing show, as well as a karaoke booth where I did Wonderwall.

First Post Introductions

I was using Wordpress as a main blog, but I got bored of it, so I'm on here. I've already got some unin blogs on here if you can find them for my internet design work and PDP work.

My name is Jim Leeder, currently 19 and a student at Chelmsford Anglia Ruskin University. I do the BSc Business Information Systems. I'm a mad Southend fan, and a big fan of music. Favourite bands/singers are Oasis, Beady Eye, Noel Gallagher, Stone Roses, Manic Street Preachers, Kasabian, Stereophonics and more. I'm happiest when with mates or at Southend watching them win, or at a big rock gig.
